God opens doors and guides us to areas of this world we did not know existed. We are so excited to share with you our Tolupan Indian program in the mountains of Northern Honduras. The Tolupan Indians are listed in the National and World Heritage of indigenous Peoples Organization and this is a civilization that is completely cut off from the rest of the world. Out of fear, they migrated to the most beautiful mountain named Montaña de la Flor (Mountain of the Flower) and their history dates back some 5000 years ago, long before the rise of the Maya civilization. They speak their own Tol language and survive completely off the land struggling with severe poverty.
We are so grateful for the faith God has instilled in our ministry to work with the unchurched and hidden members of the Tolupan Indian Tribe. After many years of building trust, the Indian chief and leaders have accepted our partner missionary family and after several visits from our ministry, the chief has trusted LHGM with the opportunity to begin serving on the mountain. We are praising God with the opening of our Children’s Hope Center for the care of their very malnourished children.
Please join us in support and prayer for this amazing program. We have been given the honor of reaching this beautiful lost civilization and sharing the gospel, bringing medical aid, feeding precious children, with no end to the needs before us. This is truly the calling of our Lord. Please join us and sponsor a child today.
