Love Thy Neighbor -
Sustainable Agricultural Program
We believe in sustainability and empowering people with the opportunity to provide for their families. We look for answers to problems in growing food, irrigation and livestock management. We also believe in paying it forward with one neighbor helping another.
program highlights
Together, we can make a difference by bringing advancements in farming to areas that struggle with challenges. Learning what will grow well in certain areas and empowering farmers with successful programs, brings more abundant harvests and creates more jobs.
Livestock management
You can bless a struggling family with our livestock program. We help farmers and individual families by gifting them with breeding pairs, such as chickens, pigs, and potentially quail and goats. The goats could provide cheese and soaps.
Once a family's animals provide offspring, they give the first back to the ministry for another family. Families work together in the program to rotate their livestock for healthy breeding.

Growing smarter
We work with families, teaching new techniques to grow their own food in difficult environments. We bring advancements in methods also to support families of farmers who struggle with harsh climate challenges.
Advancement in planting
You can help families and farmers by providing drought-resistant seeds as well as supporting alternative farming methods for more productive crop yields. We provide techniques for utilizing smaller parcels of land using vertical vegetable gardens on family plots.
Irrigation challenges
Our program looks for answers to problems such as drought issues during the dry season as well as challenges during rainy season. Better irrigation systems provide larger crops and continual success.

We work with organizations who have researched these areas and through science and education, we are able to help grow smarter with greater success. We introduce different methods of soil preparation from one planting to the next, many times eliminating the generational practice of slash and burning the fields after harvest.

achievement highlights from 2023 MISSION Teams
The Chicken Coop Project aims at promoting sustainability and self-sufficiency within the local community. With $400, this project involves building a chicken coop, providing 20 hens and 1 rooster, and teaching families how to create a sustainable food source through breeding chickens and managing their resources. In 2023, our STM teams built 8 chicken coops, brought in chicken incubators, and started the implementation of 4x4 vertical gardens in Honduras.
