Dear Sponsor,

Thank you for your care for me. I am excited that I helped build the first house with the Americans. I learned how to build and I will help in the future.

I play the guitar in church services and I help brother Leandro with anything I can. I am older now and can be more responsible to provide help.
I want to thank you.

Voices of Hope

Gary and Sonda Haldeman
Child Sponsors Since 2002
In 1997, I first learned about Living Hope Adoption Agency (a sister agency of Living Hope Global Ministries) when my mother and I attended a meeting in Lancaster County, PA. I did not know God had plans for my husband and I to adopt, but in 2001, it became very clear! As part of this journey, we decided to sponsor our first child from Living Hope.

When the Living Hope’s Angels came to the USA, each time our daughter thought we needed to sponsor another child! Through these performances, we added Sarah, Hannah, and Keira. These programs also touched my mother’s heart, and she sponsored Noah. As Living Hope expanded their vision, we added children from Honduras and Ukraine.

Throughout the past 22 years, we had the privilege of sponsoring 12 precious children. Each child has a story etched with circumstances that are unimaginable. We are grateful Living Hope provides opportunities for others to catch a glimpse of children in our world that need sponsorship to help improve their lives and give them hope for a brighter future.

Voices of Hope

"I want to highlight, first of all, that without the support of our God, this would not have been possible, just like the support received from Living Hope in the last 5 years has been of great value in fulfilling the mission that my Lord placed in my heart for more than a decade. It is important to mention that each of the visits we receive from the groups in various months of the year motivates the brothers inside the prisons to continue their path of following Jesus as the Lord and Savior of their lives. Besides the support provided to every inmate by delivering a personal hygiene kit and some food, most importantly,  with each testimony shared by several of the brothers on their visits and, of course, the gospel of the Kingdom,  more inmates have put their faith in Jesus. It also allows Christian inmates’ faith in Christ to be strengthened every day."
Pastor Jose Luis Maldonado Vijil Prison Ministries, Honduras
This is my fourth mission trip to Honduras. The motivations for me to come again and again are as follows:

1. Faith requires sacrifice, and a believer should be involved in the Great Commission.
2. Long-term participation in a cross-cultural mission allows one to become part of the ministry, share in the joy of success, and support coworkers facing difficulties;
3. Each experience is new; whether successful or challenging, it is an opportunity for growth.
4. Every time, I meet old friends and make new ones. There is something to learn from everyone, and God has a purpose in bringing us together to work side by side.
5. Sharing joy—every day is filled with happiness, and each day is lived in laughter, which is something often not found in regular church life.
6. Seeing the growth of new believers is a great encouragement to me;
7. Discovering my potential and asking myself, what can I bring to the team?

Every short-term mission trip is a unique experience, and I look forward to the next one as a new beginning.

Voices of Hope

" I have participated in various missions of Living Hope Global Ministries since 1995, and later became a board member of the Living Hope Board of directors. 18 years ago, my wife and I adopted a Chinese orphan through Living Hope Adoption Agency. Now, she is a first-year college student and a devout Christian. I’m grateful to Living Hope, Dr. Fang and all the staff and volunteers who have served the Lord so faithfully in this work. Thanks to God using them, more than 1,300 children worldwide have been given a chance for a forever family. In addition, thousands of adoptive family members, like my wife and myself, have been given a blessing that only God could have provided."

Former Chairman of the Board 2015 to 2022
" My first experience with MCMI was in the summer of 2004. I had just been assigned by my mission organization to partner of training pastors with MCMI in East Asia. God used that experience to shape my ministry for the next 20 years. Under MCMI, God in His grace has provided opportunities for me to train many pastors, train orphanage staff caregivers in several Children's Homes, and lead several English Camps.

Serving with MCMI, now Living Hope Global Ministries, and serving on the board for the past several years, has been a great blessing.  I’ve enjoyed my friendship with Samuel Fang and many others serving in the office, along with many Chinese and Honduran co-workers.  I praise God for the way in which He has raised up MCMI/ LHGM to be such a blessing to so many. What We Do

Child Sponsorship· Mission Projects · Mission Trips

Child Sponsorship

The Children Sponsorship Program is at the heart of our mission to reach out to vulnerable children around the world, offering them not just the essentials of care but also the spiritual guidance that shapes their futures. With the partnership of local churches and the unyielding support of our sponsors, a profound difference has been made in the lives of children across various regions.

Currently, the program supports over 400 children in diverse and challenging environments: Honduras (Langue and Tolupan), Asia, Ukraine, Kenya.

Through financial support and prayer, our sponsors have turned hope into action. Your contributions have fostered environments where children get to know Jesus, develop a personal relationship with Him, and redefine their purpose in life.

Mission Projects

Church Focused Community Building Up &
Spiritual Empowerment
Mission projects are a critical aspect of Living Hope’s missions, where we enhance both spiritual and material support for our partners across various regions. We focus on developing spiritual leaders and strengthening churches to achieve Living Hope’s vision of fulfilling the Great Commission.

This involves supporting pastors, providing church aid, offering pastor training, engaging in prison evangelism, and carrying out soccer ministries. Meanwhile, on a material level, we promote and facilitate building safe homes, aiding sustainable agricultural projects, and making clean water accessible. Additionally, we continue the efforts in raising support for the Agape Cancer Survivor Family Fund and Ukraine Crisis Fund. All these projects will help our co-workers in different regions to address the immediate needs of the communities they serve.

Mission Trips

For different age groups within the church and varying levels of experience and understanding of missions, we have launched a diverse range of mission trips to enable more brothers and sisters to participate in the Great Commission.
