Faithful Expansion in Asia | 忠实地拓展亚洲事工

  " Abraham is a child enrolled in our Asian Children Sponsorship who has a miserable life experience. When he was just one year old, his mentally disabled mother got lost and was never heard from again. The next year, my father suffered a cerebral hemorrhage, leaving him disabled and struggling to raise Abraham by himself. Abraham's life was turned upside down when he joined our program at the age of eight.

When our co-workers visited Abraham for the first time, they were deeply touched by his helpless eyes and cold, hopeless expression. This was a child who lacked love, especially the love of Heavenly Father! Since then, many co-workers have taken turns to participate in caring for him: some gave him school supplies, toys, and clothes; some made good food at home and invited them to come and eat; some sewed his sweater; a child from Sunday School and his grandfather gave Abraham a ride to church every Sunday. Another co-worker makes a hot meal for him before sending him home… When co-workers invited Abraham to a Bible summer camp for the first time, he refused to go because he was afraid that the co-workers were traffickers and would trick and sell him! The second time, he couldn't wait to hold a co-worker’s hand and got into the car happily! During the two weeks at the summer camp, his face was always filled with a smile. He ate, lived, and studied with our co-workers and never wanted to return! Now Abraham can recite many scriptures and actively preaches the gospel!

Abraham’s father took the same path as him, refused, doubted, and resisted at the beginning, and now believes in the Lord! His face also began to have a long-lost smile and relaxation. Thank the Lord for saving the father and son, thank the Lord for His grace and faithfulness! "

“ Abraham 是我们亚洲儿童救助项目里的一位同学，身世凄惨。他刚刚一岁时，智力有残疾的母亲不幸走失，再无音讯。第二年，父亲突发脑溢血，留下残障，独立艰难抚养孩子。Abraham 八岁时加入了我们的救助项目，从此生命发生了翻转。

国内同工初次探访Abraham时，被他那双无助的眼神和冰冷孤独的表情深深触痛，这是一个缺失爱，尤其是缺少天父爱的孩子！自此，许多的同工轮流加入了关怀他的服事：有人送给他学习用品，玩具和衣物；有人家里做了好菜就接父子俩去吃饭；有人给他缝补毛衣；有一个主日学的小朋友每周日跟着爷爷开车接有才去教会，另一位同工每次主日学结束后带他去自己家里吃一顿热乎乎的饭菜，之后再送他回家。。。第一次同工邀请Abraham去参加圣经夏令营时，他说不去，怕同工们是人贩子，要骗他去外地把他卖了！第二次他已经迫不及待拉着同工阿姨的手欢天喜地地坐上了车！在夏令营两周的聚会中，他的脸上始终洋溢着喜乐的笑容，跟着同工们同吃同住同学习，乐不思返！现在的Abraham可以背诵许多经文，还会积极传福音呢！”
