Asia: The Unstoppable Steps |

During our discussion with the Asian co-worker team about the progress of the ministry, we learned that they still often face persecution. However, the external challenges have not stopped God’s work. The children continue to receive support from sponsors, care from the co-workers, and spiritual nourishment from the pastors.

In September, local co-workers organized a study camp for a group of children. During the camp, the kids visited the best local universities, sparking a greater desire for knowledge. They also toured a science museum and cultural streets. On the last day, they had the opportunity to join a fellowship with Christian brothers and sisters who were already attending university.

After this summer, several children from the ministry will be entering college, with many even gaining admission to prestigious local universities. For these children, being able to attend university is a significant step toward changing their destiny. Our co-workers assist the children in settling into their respective universities and connecting them with local churches, so even though they are far from home, they can still find the warmth of a home within the church.

Local co-workers shared with us their hope that these children, who come from challenging backgrounds, may one day become a positive impact in society because of the love of Jesus.
